Donner Creek Foot Bridge Site (Clayton)

Donner Creek and Canyon have seen a lot of spring hikers recently due to Tom Stienstra’s columns in the Chronicle. One of our contacts reported this one to us and we went right out to check it out. We like irrefutable evidence of the Indian presence.

To get there: Go to Clayton and find Regency Drive on Marsh Creek Road headed out of town east. Go to the end of Regency Drive and park. Find the old homestead, then the little foot bridge. It’s just past that.
